Scope of This Policy

This policy covers information handled through ryanmedicare.com, including anything entered into a form, submitted with an account, or gathered automatically while the pages are being viewed. It applies to this site alone and not to any other service reached from a link here.

Information Collected

Two kinds of information are collected. The first is given deliberately when a form is completed. The second is recorded automatically by the systems that serve the pages.

• Name, email address, and phone number entered on a form.
• Account details such as a login email and a stored password credential.
• Coverage notes shared voluntarily, such as prescriptions or provider names.
• Messages sent through the contact form and any reply exchanged afterward.
• Technical records such as browser type, device type, approximate location, and pages viewed.

Sensitive health details are never required to browse the site. Anything of that nature is only held because it was shared voluntarily to support a coverage review.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to answer the request that was submitted and to keep the site working properly. In practice that means responding to a message, preparing a coverage comparison, maintaining an account, and improving pages that visitors struggle with.

Details are not used to build profiles for sale, and they are not passed to unrelated advertisers.

Text Message and Phone Consent

Consent to receive text messages is collected separately on the sign up form, once for service messages tied to an open request and once for marketing about Medicare plans and offers. Neither box is a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency may vary and standard message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP ends marketing messages and replying HELP reaches support. Mobile numbers and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

When Information Is Shared

Information is shared only where it is needed to act on a request or where the law requires it.

• With an insurer or plan administrator when a quote or enrollment is requested.
• With service providers who host the site, deliver messages, or keep records, under confidentiality obligations.
• Where a law, subpoena, or government request compels disclosure.
• Where sharing is needed to protect the safety or legal rights of a person.

Cookies and Site Measurement

Small files may be stored by a browser to keep a session working and to measure which pages are used. These records are read in aggregate and are not used to identify a visitor by name.

How Long Records Are Kept

Records are kept for as long as they are needed to serve the request they came from, to maintain an account, or to satisfy a legal or record keeping obligation. When a record is no longer needed for any of those reasons it is deleted or stripped of identifying detail.

Your Choices and Rights

Several choices are available at any time, and using one of them will not affect the quality of any answer given.

• Ask what personal information is held and request a copy of it.
• Ask for a correction where a detail is wrong or out of date.
• Ask for deletion, subject to records that must be retained by law.
• Withdraw text message consent by replying STOP or by writing to the address below.
• Unsubscribe from email updates using the link inside any of those emails.

Requests are answered within the period set by applicable law. Proof of identity may be requested before a record is released.

Children

This site is built for adults considering Medicare coverage and is not directed at children. Information is not knowingly collected from a child. If such information is discovered it will be deleted.

Links to insurer sites, plan documents, and government resources appear across these pages. Once a link is followed, the destination collects and handles information under its own policy. Reading that policy before entering details there is worth the minute it takes.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the site changes or when the rules that apply to it change. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the version currently in force, and continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies.
